Default Eye candy - Instruments from unexpected materials

    Heresy time kids,

After the aggro of another thread I thought it might be time to post some instruments that break the conventions a bit. I'll start with a butcher block Tele,

Default Eye Candy - Instruments from unexpected materails

    Very nice Sebastiaan,
    I like that.
Attached photos of my salvaged butchers block , salvaged from a very old growth standing dead blackwood and then air dried for 12 years.
Now on its way air mail to a customer in Georgia U.S.A. for him to turn into a one of a kind custom guitar fiddleback burled Tasmania blackwood.
    Cheers, Bob

    Hi Jock,

I have made instruments out of vegetables. They are great for working out how to cut fipples on wind instruments. I know that a few carvers practise concepts on spuds as well. LOL, look what I found.... http://www.vegetableinstruments.com/

Okay! What a great photo. I see the foot pedals working the valves but WTH is that little ball hovering above the horn's bell?
