Yea your right. I should be getting my template next week. My dad has almost finished drawing it in cad so he can do it next week at work. I finished building my router table today so its ready to go for my body.
Wat kind of guitar are you gonna make ficfac? I think im gonna do an RG/JEM for my next build. I already have an Ibanez RG and think there the most comfortable guitar to play and i love the look of the JEM so ill make one next

I'm an ESP man. I have a Horizon, my wife has an Eclipse, and we have an LTD 400B which is a Baritone.
I'm torn between making a copy of my Horizon or making a fat strat or tele, with 24 frets.
I'm gonna make it neck through and strings through the body and I'm going to use DiMarzio pups 'cos none of our Guits have them.
I'd also really like to make a jumbo acoustic with a cutaway. They're really good for tuning down to B, or C ala IN FLAMES!Sharp is Best!

I redrew my plans wit new dimensions I came up with. I agree with you andrew. Its pretty fun doing it. Im not as good as you but. I need a bigger ruler and bigger paper. I just taped a bunch of A4 together. Wat size paper do you use and where do you get it from?

i use a large roll... its about a metre wide i guess... and im not sure how long... prety long LOL...
i cut it down the middle....
i looked at buying one of these rolls and basically your looking at ALOT of money....
luckily my girlfriends parents own a childcare centre and the roll was tucked away out the back and wasnt getting used.... so i got it
art and craft stores have off white paper rolls i think... not as big as mine....
i think their name has something to do with newspaper...
newspaper stock or something.... i used to see it at parramatta alot....
not sure on prices though....
larger rulers are expensive but if you treat it right it will last you forever
oh and a good ruler that i love it a rolling ruler... i think its called a rolling ruler, or a sliding ruler....
basically its a ruler with a long wheel on the back....
you draw a line and slowly push it forward and if your careful it stays inline
i use that one a lot...
also with the kind of paper im talking about.... you will want to use softer pencils...

Lucky you getting it for free. It sucks that my mum quit her job at the newspaper a few months ago. She worked there 10 years and couldnt stay a couple more months to steal me some big ???? paper!!!
