    I agree with Kiwigeo,
I bought Cumpiano and Jim Williams book about 6-7 years ago.
Cumpiano teaches you the various woodworking skills you need to develop as you
    work through the book.
    I built a classical first.
It was good to have Jim's book as well, just for the difference of opinion is some things. Although I did find Jim's book a bit too skimpy in terms of instructions sometimes. (ie put tab A into slot B).
If you need to learn how to use the tools as well, then Cumpiano is great.

[quote=Damien12;817127]Looking for something that goes into detail
Hi Damien well I'm an apprentice, newbie so to speak, but when it comes to info, I have passed with flying colors, just keep looking and saving on your laptop/computer, then review even stewmac is a treasure trove of info. This site has help me no end ...thank you, but I save it to my harddrive, read it again, follow the links, listen to "the Masters" read again.....then....I go to the workshop and try. Allways ask Google first, so much info ans so little time.
Anyhow I enjoy this site amongst others very much, thanks to all the 'clever' people who has gone before us
    Tzen
