Yes Allen will indeed advise of any local suppliers he uses. However I think alot of his wood comes from the same sources as I get mine.....Tim Spittle here in (Perth) Australia or suppliers in the US and Canada.

Tasmanian Tonewoods sponsors this forum so I would definately support them, and I can tell you that Bob has some exceptional timber and is one the best guy's to deal with I've ever met.

Thank you for the compliment Dylan,
But as for sponsership it is time for me to move on and let some of the others in this forum who like to advertise wood for sale pay for sponsership in the musical instrument forum. I am not going out of business in fact far from it, I will keep going for many, many years yet, in fact I am soon going to be offering more servise's, a lot has happened this year and I look forward to supplying top quality tonewood to my customers in this forum if you require that some thing special please drop me a line as I am not leaving the forum.
And Alan that maple burl is magical, I am sure if you want to find some thing to match it in colour for the back there should be some thing up your way available.
Cheers to all best regards Bob

Fair enough Bob, as long as you keep getting me the finest timber then thats all that really matters. Finally sanded that Myrtle burl flat and the figure is magic.
