So you like a bit of a joke do you? two headstocks good one, Like Tasmanian's have two heads also they have two brains that makes them smarter than mainlanders who if there Brains were Ink would not have enough Ink for a full stop.
As for Alan's work you are not looking at what he has produced some magical looking Basses and custom build guitars, what he has on his website is bugger all as he sells them before they go on his website and he has a waiting list for his work. Have you got customers waiting for your Basses or guitars.? So you like a good joke then I suggest that you take a swim over a very big River.
Cheers the name is Bob not chief bigriver or chiefbullshitartist.

Good one. Your right my guitar will sing like a bird, I was hoping Alan would have it ready by now so I could do the latest Rolling stones tour. But it will not be here for a couple more months so I will have to tell Mike I will do the next tour. Cheers Bob.

The Thumb is a double cut. Some how a double cut got into the photos on the first bass ( even it doesn't look like a Thumb ). The single cut is the one I'm on about.

Ok Warwick makes a single cut. I'll have to admit it's not what I think of when people say Thumb. Still this single cut is quite different.

    Hi
Just like to point out that that single cut design ( Finn Classic) predates the Warwick single cut by a good 4 years.

Big River I have been trying to find your guitar builds but can't seem to find any of your work could you point me in the right direction I would be interested in seeing them.

    Cheers

Just one moment while I get out my translation book, Ah Bob Ya nout godda Sence a humour - OK right I take it translated into Australian you mean Bob you got no sense of humour. wrong there' I have the most wicked sense of humour as everyone that knows me will tell you I just love a good joke and a good stir to me a spade is a spade and a shovel is a shovel I just don't take crap and I don't run people down or there workmanship now I happen to have seen lots of AC custom Basses & Guitars workmanship and you builds some beautiful instruments if his workmanship was as you say anything special there would not be a waiting list.
Now I see you have hijacked my thread that don't bother me I like to see other forum members builds but I would like to see them from start to finish that is progress through the build first the bare wood then stages of the build this was what this forum is all about to showcase work and help other young members up and coming luthiers now for all I know you could have bought all of them 3 guitars that you posted photos of in a Pawn shop, build photos please.
Now have you got a sense of humour.? Cheers Bob.

    Bob,
Just for the record I didn't bring up Warwick or say I particularly liked them one way or the other.

I went looking for your work since my work would appear not to be very inspiring and that is absolutely fine everyone likes different things. I had hoped to find something like a Rick Toone, Teufffel , Klien or a Strandberg to account for my work being so uninspired, but you build Les Paul copies. I was somewhat disappointed. Liked the cultural stereotype as well.
