    Default Mahogany single cut

I also posted this at Project Guitar.

I started this project yesterday, It's a 32mm thick Mahogany Single Cut flat top.

Anyway heres a spec list, subject to change of course:

    Timbers:

    Mahogany body
    Mahogany Neck
    Rosewood FB

    Hardware/Electronics:
Seymour Duncan SP90-2 (Bridge + Neck)
    Bridge Unknown (maybe baddass?)
    Standard wiring
    Sperzel Locking machine heads

Anyway, I routed the 2 piece body to shape, rounded the top and bottom and finished the belly contour.

Heres my first set of pictures:

    Front

    Side

    Back

This Guitar is basically a prototype for a carved top Queensland Maple version i will be after this.

I will finish most of the body routing over the weekend, possibly start the neck, but theres no rush.

    G'day...
    Cool looking build!!.
How do you attach the neck on such a thin body?.
Is it set or bolt on? .

    Cheers
    Deano

Very clean work so far RG.

Keep the updates on this one rolling as I think this will be of interest to a lot of guys thinking of thinner bodied builds.

    Cheers, Stu
