    first of all i have to admit i found this forum by accident i was searching tone wood in melbourne i have to build my two neices a pair of telecasters (in order to rescue my strat and les pual which are being held to ransom) in other words i have to deliver 2 guitars or i dont see my les paul and strat i was looking for somewhere easy to get to that is reasonably priced (im in craigieburn) failing that mybe a forum member my be willing to part with some wood for a cash adjustment

    a good range of timber is always available at matthews timber vermont
    1 hour from you - for teles you cant go past southern myrtle - light, machines well and killer tone

    Mathews timber , as Ray suggested are very good.
    As are AFT timbers in South Melbourne.
