Have you tried talking to Stewmac about your problems? Ive been buying stuff of them for a few years now and on the odd occasion I've had problems with a product they've resolved the problem.

Thanks mate, I actually had an old german coil winder, and thought hey Ill buy a nice new one from stewmac, real piece of rubbish, I went back and they have a few reviews on the product and not a single good one, guess I should read other peoples views before buying in future
