It's good to see local stuff out there on show, and why not !!!!
Martink, I'm not sure if you're asking about Blacklabb's build or mine, but either way I can answer to an extent. Blacklabb made his own pickups and details on other threads where he was able to get all of his pickup materials from.
I got most of my hardware from the states. http://www.stewmac.com/
Two way trussrod is from Luthiers mercantile here http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdpro...ion+welded+nut
The seymour Duncans were from Here (local) http://stringshop.com.au/
Good luck in the GOTM Blacklabb and superfly. I think we'll need it considering all the other builds up for it as well.
cheers, Stu

Hey Stu, isn't that rod basically the same as the one ALS sells? They are nice..very nice.

G'day RGM.
I hadn't seen them on ALS until now. They are slightly different though.
When I bought 15 trussies from LMII, you couldn't get those in Oz and I tend to buy this
stuff in bulk to keep the prices lower than buying here. Stewmac and LMII discount for bulk buys which is a huge bonus. I'm all for local services, but the one thing about ALS that irks me is their non-inclusion of GST in their prices. A huge trap.
Cheers, Stu

Voted for GOTM
Although it has to be said that this month's looks like a really strong field and there are at least 4 that deserve a win.

The show isn't over yet until the vote is closed, and never wanting to count my chickens..........but I wanted to make clear to you that some of the comments posted do mean alot and they galvanise my resolve to build better aussie timber guitars.
Cheers, Stu
