    Pretty much. They werent lined up and looked crap, and some were too close together and I had to file down sides so they would fit.
    Even with a drill press its hard to get them right.

    the ferrules on my 7 were a pain in the ass to do...
    because with them lined up, with about a mm beween each, the string spacing was atleast 4mm wider than the bridges spacing,
    so i routed a slot under the bridge, and drilled the through holes at a slight angle into the slot from the centre of each ferrule....

    what a PITA

    but it worked out, and they are straight

    im not using ferrules with lips ever again

    Again, due to my laziness there has been a lack of updates, but its almost done. Sanded it through to 1500 grit this morning. Its like glass (almost) I also put the first coat of poly on the neck, and a half coat on the body (just the top, its wipe on poly so it wont matter that I only half did it)
