Re finish peeling guitar neck
I have a garrison guitar that the finish is peeling and blistering of the neck
I think it’s a polyurethane finish and apparently was a problem with these guitars
What is the best way to strip it right back so I can re finish it probably with Tru oil or maybe hard shellac

Put some masking tape on any areas you don't want to get scratched, sand paper to remove the old finish, work your way up in grits till smooth, apply oil.

Finished - ! with WhittleWaxes Evolution hard wax oil
Pain sanding into the corners near the body but looks a feels a lot better than it did
I just hope the body doesn’t start peeling away now
