Perry,
Do you have any comments about the sound of the Chrome guitar? How thick are the soundboard and walls. Lovely neck, it would be hard to style against that chrome,

It sounds different. It is an early prototype with a LOT more work to get it to production, so not a good representation of the final tone etc. They got a lot of money from the government, and I know that ran out a while ago. I think they have some sort of private backing here, and maybe contacts for distribution in the states, but I havent heard a thing since i finished this neck about 12 months ago.

drew up a headstock shape for the iceman for ryan and sent him a couple pics to see what he thinks. we had a quick talk about it last week, and he likes the concept. see how he likes how it looks on the instrument before i cut it.
here they are, see what you guys think as well. i find that he's not picky enough and seems to be pretty happe just that hes getting a guitar made for him. i need some more critical criticism if necessary than he will give.
i know 2 of the photos are near identical. just wanted my cats foot in there, and the one without seems a bit better.

The sharp pointy overhang on the top of the headstock would be easily damaged methinks. But quite useful for touching up the bass player.... That said I like the balance of it but would prefer a softer line. I also think the tuners could be moved further down the headstock, particularly the B string.

thanks for the feedback seb. i think i'll leave it how it is, it seems to match the body shape well. the horn piece shouldnt be too fragile, and has a tuner that will probably hit the obstacle at the same time. i feel the offset works well as it matches the bodies offset.
thanks for the comments, even if i dont act on them. sometimes someone says something and suddenly you realise it, and cant seem to get it out of your head. didnt want that to happen.
