    Default search for quality tuners

I'm restoring an old Maton arch top, and I swear I saw some decent quality replacement tuners for it
some time ago when I first took it on , but I havent been able to find them since.
I have a set the at I CAN use, that were a whole $6 from China,
but something tells me they may not be the greatest tuners (could be wrong, I dont know)
To me, they are a pretty standard older open back vintage tuner, but all I can find is more 'economy' style,
which is what I already have
Here is the style, if anyone knows of something better, I would really appreciate the help
    cheers

If the backing plate has to be a similiar angled style, 2 screw
    https://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and..._3_Tuners.html
Or you could check out Australian Luthier Supplies, Realparts.com.au
Even give Maton a call, they may have an original set laying around.
Out of curiosity what model is it?

    Thanks for ther reply .
The Stewmac tuners are the 'economy' ones I got for $6 from china.
and ALS and Realparts dont have any either.
    I DID see a $40ish set somewhere . . . but not now.

sorry, I didnt answer you fully there.
    Its this guy's grandfather's 1969 Alver model
which is a real cheapie, I know
but hw wants the full box and dice on it.
And Maton would not help him at all . . . not interested.
