Very nice and I've gotta say I love the lamination choices.
How about a close up of the frog inlays?

Very clean routing and working, just like your cabs

There's a frog there that looks like he's flipping you off

    Excellent work!

Did you machine the froggies or are they prebought? (or did you bronze real ones...ahhh....now I see....)
    Cheers!

Mongrel , the frogs are actually cast . I made wax patterns and cast them at work then tidied them up a bit .

And thanks for the kind words all.

Deano The pickups are P-Rails .. P90 with a rail .Ive used the wiring from the SD site 3 way for neck -bridge-or combo , and a mini toggle to select rail-P90 or humbucker. There is a video clip on the Seymour Duncan site .

And forgot to say the finish is Nitro . Never used it before so was a bit different for me .

This really turned out great, Mark. Well Done !!!!!
I'm curious on the P-Rails and whether they produce a decent sound in all modes or if they're a compromise and fall short in either.

So, what's more fun............ Building Cabs or Geets?

Thanks Deano , Ray and Stu.
Stu I thought the same thing but was willing to give them a try ,1st impresions are the neck p90 is the cream and that the bridge rail the weakest both humbuckers are good and also when both rails combined are pleasing. I would like to put it in the hands of a good player and have a listen. Its only early yet so I'll let it settle in .

Cabs or Geets well , my cabs take about four times more work to finish and more wood work too . But I think the guitar is more rewarding ,certainly much more to think about and my brain needs these challenges . It has been fun and I've got another two planned.

    Cheers Mark
