    I used Ron Kirn for templates for my tele. He has them for the strat too. My plans came from the Mimf forum.

    I felt the $45 USD for templates was well worth it since they are cut on CNC and as long as I preserve the originals I have a good baseline.

    trouble with ronkims templates there is no centre lines and no neck templates

    when lining up a template to cut a body i like to ensure the join line on a two piece body is dead centre and I use the centre line right through the job as i may use a non standard bridge, pickups etc - i like to keep options open

    i got a few sets from guitarbuildingtemplates.com [another ron] and the templates are nice but pockets are oversized and you get neck templates as well

    dont rely 100% on any of thee templates - check your measurements etc speccially before cutting the pocket and the bridge holes

    use em with a grain of salt - the absolute truth they cetainly aint
