    Default Tassi Blackwood ,Sitka spruce concert Ukulele

    Recently finished this Concert ukulele for a friend of mine in Perth.

    Sitka Spruce
    Back and sides, bindings and headplate: Tassi Blackwood.
    Ebony fingerboard and bridge.
    Abalone inlay (mates initials)
    Bone nut and saddle.
    Finished with automotive 2pack clear

    Very nice indeed. I especially like the look of the 'broken' fretboard and the inlay crossing the frets. Makes for a very individual look.
    The Blackwood came up well, too. It really catches the light.
    That's a very deep body, I'd love to hear what it sounds like.

    My obligatory question - I see a lot of instruments with 'concert' in the title. What's the difference between a concert ukulele and a standard one?

    The body is 70mm at the deepest point. There are four main sizes in Ukulele. small to large; Soprano(standard), Concert, Tenor and Baritone.
    Glad you liked it.
    Unfortunately I don`t have a sound sample. However I took it to a bunch of music shops and it was as good as any high end Uke on the shelf.

    The fret spacing is true right through. Intonation is true.
