Tone Woods
Now here's a Question for all you Luthiers,
i am moving my Business more towards supplying Luthier Tone Woods so as you can understand i have still alot to learn when it comes to Sizes for Different Guitars,
Fronts, Backs, Necks, Ect, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Regards Robert.

Some Aussie woods Ive heard of being used for soundboards,
Bunya Pine,
Kauri Pine,
Houn Pine,
Nice dense grain is preferred for northern hemisphere timbers, I expect the same will apply here. There is a lot of lore around tap tone which you should get a handle on if you are going to supply luthiers. Also there is a place for decorative timbers. I think Black Heart Sassafras would make great headstock veneer. There are also plenty of opportunities for 5-10mm burl slices,
The Old Picker has a very nice page on trusted suppliers, check their offerings out as well.
