Shielding Paint
Just found these guys, might consider this stiff instead of the stewmac stuff??

You'd be surprised at the number of people out there with alfoil concealed beneath there beanies ... I get their letters and e-mails to respond to.
Looks good mongrel ... it'd be a little less fiddly than RF Shielding tape.
Although the 12 month shelf life would be a draw-back depending on the cost. For many here that would mean you'd only do a guitar or two before it went off.

Isn't Sodium Silicate a fire retardant and insect repellant??
Sorry, my alfoil undies are riding a little high...
Its a powder, so I wonder if the shelf life is for the post mix rather than the pre...
I am quite sick of copper tape, and anything that would fix that is good in my book. It would also be good for recording situations, you could RF shield just about anything (beanies, hats somberos etc...) dogs, cats (naw wouldn't waste the paint on a cat ;P)Cheers!Mongrel
