Default different type of acoustic guitar

    Hello,

Check this out - the steel bar connects to another soundbox and he plays it like a cello.

    Interesting.

    It's very interesting.
I wonder just how much sound comes out of the extra sound box?

Heaps, it about doubles the amplitude. The same thing applies to a cello spike on a timber floor in a room with good acoustics.

Thanks, Barry, I'd never considered that - just thought the spike was a leg. I guess it would mainly boost the bass.

Am learning cello, my spike has a screw on rubber cap.

My Mrs would not want me to be digging spike into floors. Might endanger my tools allowance.

Maybe I can build a boom box ( with a sacrificial top ?)

Will have a go. Never thought about it before reading your post.
