    Default Any ukulele Builders

    Hello all, im only new to the forum but seen there is a musical instrument section so i thought i might ask if there is anyone here who builds ukulele's who might be kind enough to share some of your builds. Although Hawaiian koa ukuleles are nice i found mine to be very very temperamental to Australian conditions especially where i live and have had cases of bracing issues and buzzing ect through strings during times of the year and for a $1000 ukulele it wasnt great. Would love one day to have an australian built ukulele from australian woods. But for now please share your builds if use have any

    Welcome keithCAD. I'm pretty sure there are a few uke builders floating around in here somewhere, someone will poke their head up sooner or later.
    I built a beaten little cigar box ukelele in year 9, does that count? Haha

    Micheal Connor (Localele) is also a very good builder, and my mate. I don't post here much, as my time is limited, but you can check out my workshop area of my site to follow along on some of my previous builds.
