    Default WIP - number 6

    gradually taking on more of the process and this one is neck #1
    its just like me to choose a scarf joint with angled pocket and a sandwich headstock
    not something staightforward like a tele or strat style neck

    anyhow this one is pretty much just a do it if you can kind of experimental thing as it is a body i began 2 years ago with an idea that is now pretty much irrelevant

    i am just gonna build it up to play myself - my choice of pickups hehehe

    phatcats ?? or i always wanted to try a jb or pearly gates mmmm maybe 3 minibuckers

    body is myrtle, vic ash back and neck = a stewmac fretboard which is pretty chunky maybe a bit too chunky...

    Keep it coming Ray. Soon as I can see, I'll learn from this stuff. By the way, a bloke made a parts o caster down here, pre finished neck, body pre finished and nitroed, the whole deal, and it's on the wall for sale @ $1200 near enough. I think a home grown neck and body won't bring you much more money in the short term - just longevity and respect.

    Now get back to work!
