Also, please (I urge / implore you) to get some MDF and some batts and line/ insulate the walls beforehand. That will not only make life in the shed more bearable for heat and cold - but keep the noise down. And make it much easier to install the benches / overheads. Again, I just need the measurements. (I DO NOT DO LAMINATED TOPS).

AM, you turn nicely (much better than I), but please leave me something to feel good about. I assume you are being serious.... ????

If you are, the said two kitchens (mine and 's) may need your expertise.

I have the panel saw, nail gun etc etc all ready to go.
Jefferson, I'll probably go for ply or customwood. PM me when you get back from Prossy.

    John,

    regarding the wall linings .
You may have already thought of this , and are going to do it , or have dismissed it , but here is my idea .

I see that you have run your wiring along the center nog /dwang/strut or whatever it is known as round your way , so line the walls in two parts . From the floor up to that middle line , and from the roof down to the same .
But leave the channel itself open , giving a cable duct , to be capped later when all wires have been run and the power sockets are in their right places.
Screw the dado cap board on , for easy removal .
This is common in the office partition work that we do on occasion , both for wiring and computer cabling .
Its simple , effective and adaptable.

You give me too much credit Jock. That's a great idea, consider it done

    Tea Lady,

I think I can help with your cupboards.... But you are 4th in line.

All the kitchen cabinet guys use nail guns before screwing. No glue!

The builder turns up and we undo the pack and find that the girts and purlins and other bit & pieces are not for my shed. It seems that my pack 301634 got the purlins etc for pack 301638

I have rung Totalspan Qld and cannot get an answer. The builder rung them and still cannot get an answer.

The bulder to his credit put together as much as he could and moved the sheets into the yard as well.

Whom wants to guess my disposition at the moment?

    Not happy Jan!!!

The first thing I did when my pack arrived was open it up and check everything against the delivery docket. I'd be looking for some sort of reimbursment, maybe a refund of the delivery costs. I don't like your chances though, although you do have someone elses purlins to hold for ransom. And there's someone, somewhere, just as peed off as you.

No doubt Totalspan will offer to cover the callback cost of the builder

Aren't you supposed to be on your way to Queensland. Or are you just lashing down the solar panels .
