. A free bucket for you Sir Brett and one for Lady Lola too. Lola will so thrilled . A free bucket for anybody (attending the GTG) who guesses correctly and sends me a PM by midnight tonight. If you post the answer on this thread before midnight you will suffer eternal damnation and owe me a drink .

So far 16 buckets have been purchased at the princely sum of $2 each. Still some more left for those wots interested.

I think you are on to it. A bucket is on it's way in the post: What size is your letter box? No, half a tick, you're coming along so you can pick it up . (Freight and handling was always going to be a killer ).

So? That makes the bottom of the yard really "wheelchair friendly."

Anyway wheelin', there'll be around 60 strong, competent forearms on hand. We might even have a go at blanket tossing .

The price for attendees is $2, for loosers (non attendees) the price is $5 including freight.

When I saw SM's avatar pop up a few posts ago I thought that maybe he was going to say he could make it after all. Having to change the date at this late stage was going to be a real pain.

    Default Appetiser

Well today I met with Mutawintji when he traveled the journey from the Bunya mountains to the Western darling Downs just to bring some timber over for me to bring down to the GTG.

What a great bloke. The fact that he traveled all the way just to do this is an indication of his mindset even though he can't come along himself. By his own admission he is a newcomer to woodworking and has minimal tools, but you would hardly know it. Have a look at this if you doubt my words:

. I'll leave you all to further research his work.

I thought you might like to see what he brought over. Blackwood, maple, Rose Mahogany, the very mysterious salvaged log from the river (see the two tiny pieces he sanded) and a turning blank of unknown origin. We might have to have a vote at the GTG as to what it is.

It really is a shame he can't make it.

    Regards
    Paul

I have to add that there was a sour note just as he left with a vehicle infringement. Details:
