Or you could make a lamp. They don't take much timber and think what you would have left over.

hi guys,
had a bit of a play on the weekend,i took advice from the forum
and the owner wanted a bowl on the top[for a plant pot or similar]
and some of the original timber as it was in the start, also a feminine
shape or flowing lines
so i attacked it with a arortech ,first time i have tried it so i was
a bit apprehensive at first but it worked o.k.
this is the rosewood blank so far

hi paul,
the stores we have over here will not sell such things,
i went to two different stores [vinnies/lifeline]type stores
and was told they are not allowed to sell them, what kind of world
are we living in these days by protecting people from such dangerous
items as skateboards/rollerskates .
wow ........ am i sounding like a grumpy old man
hi ian,
yes.......... as stated i tried to go down that path, but to no avail
i did buy some wheels at bunnies..cost $1.98 each,
thanks for your comments, hopefully i will find the time to finish
it off this weekend
cheers smiife
