    Default Milling some Bloodwood

Here's a few pics of what i milled today...largest slab just under 800mm wide.Firm cutting, but there wasn't as much defect as i was expecting .These were from the butt, and measure around 2200mm long...my back is now reminding me how heavy they were to lift onto the ute ..MM

Thanks for reminding me why I don't work with slabs anymore. I see this beautiful wood on these posts but...I...must...resist...

    Great work mate.

    Cheers,

    Steve.

    Thumbs up

    The master Diviner strikes again!!!

Beautiful slabs MM. Always loved bloodwood. I also love
the bloodwood gum nuts. They just seem to typify the
    bush for me.

    Burnt. It's almost inconceivable.

It's like burning coal or killing dolphins.

    Exclamation

As Evanism says, burning that would be sacrilegious.

Mighty good grain in there MM!! I can just picture the
    tables made from those slabs.
