Received my second pen in the post today from Barry A.K.A Mannum3. Its a great Executive Seirra though not sure on the wood. Already given it a work out. also included were some great Aussie blanks to play with. Must make some time in the shed to do some turning!
Why is my work bench never tidy?

I think I labeled all the blanks. If not there should be a letter on them and I can let you know what they are

Received my stash from my Aussie partner DaveTTC. I got a pen and pencil set that is beautiful. Dave even sent some awesome blanks that I want to get to ASAP. As soon as I get this new camera figured out I will post some pictures. Thanks for all of the items you really went above and beyond.

Robert glad you like them. Great to hear they arrived safely.
Those pens have a story and are a limited resource. Ned Kelly, a notorious bush ranger once wanted to write his side of the story of how he ended up where he was.
A little Ned Kelly & Jerilderie history.
Situated in the Main Street of Jerilderie the building that served as a residence also housed the printing press for the Jerilderie and Urana Gazette. Steeped in history this building is most well known for its association with the Kelly Gang
Jerilderie's printing press was one of the prime attractions thar bought the Kelly Gang to the town, as it would enable them to print the 7,500 word letter (later known as the Jerilderie Letter) that Ned had dictated to fellow gang member Joe Byrne.
Ned Kelly and his gang held the town up over 3 days as he was in Jerilderie from 8th - 10th February 1879. When Ned attended the printery Samuel Gill the then editor and printer was absent so his letter was left with bank accountant Edwin Living to hand on for printing. This never happened in Ned's life time.
In recent years the Jerilderie Shire had the building renovated and repaired. As part of this some of the original floor was pulled up and replaced. This old floor which was essentially sitting on the ground. The Murray Pine boards were rescued from the local tip so a little of Kelly history can live on.

WOO HOO
Amos I am floored.
The box has arrived. The wood on that pen is fantastic, what is it? I already have a kit planned for the extra blank you sent.
The nib section and custom jewels look great. Did you make the metal portion of the section, as well as the wood overlay?
The engraved box is a beautiful addition and the crests put it front and center of my collection.
When I get home, I will take some pictures and get them posted.

Amos' Masterpiece
I was finally able to get some photos taken.
The fit and finish of this pen is excellent. I hope everyone can see quality of the work in my photos, I am definitely not a pro photographer. I'm still waiting to hear from Amos about the wood, but I think its incredible.
The box is a beautiful added touch. I retired from the Canadian Army, after 26 years service. The horse image on the left was my branch, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME Rats). The right is my trade badge as Sgt. Weapons Technician (Gun Plumber).
I am honoured by this new center piece of my collection.
Once again Amos, thank you for making my first Aussie Pen Swap such a memorable experience.

Thanks Brad, Darrin , I am having trouble with my email provider, have patience and I will send a Work in Progress that may help with the blank. Amos
