    Default In my shed

G'day to all. I haven't been on this forum for long, but slowly getting used to finding my way around it. I hope this thread is in the right place, but just wanted to share what I have been doing in my shed. Any comments will be welcome! I have never been involved with a more "giving" group than woodturners. Everyone has something to offer to the new members, and everyone seems so comfortable with what they are doing, either in their own shed or their own club. I have enjoyed seeing what others are doing, so I hope some of you are interested in what I have been doing. Thanks for having a look. Don't want to make this too long, so will be happy to answer questions and give descriptions if asked.

When you started off your intro I thought you were going to be a beginner with a few pieces to show and lots of questions to ask. Boy was I wrong. That is a lovely array of pieces you have been making with lots of variations.
Keep up the good work and keep showing us what you make.

wheelinround Thanks for your comments. No I don't exhibit them anywhere except at our club Show and Tell at our meetings. There are some of them in various newsletters on our Guild web site, sydneywoodturners.com.au but most of my stuff is donated as fundraisers to various clubs and charities my wife and I are involved in. I attend at the Bankstown City Woodturners meetings at Chester Hill on first and third Saturday every month.

    Doug,

some beautiful pieces there. I particularly like the live edged ones. I will be aspiring to get some near that professionalism.

    cheers
