Thread: Will there be another scraping class?

I had a fantatstic weekend. Thanks Phil for all the work you put in to make this happen, and Marko for sharing his knowledge. Also thanks to all the other people behind the scenes who helped out. Phil's scrapers are a good bit of kit, I bought the one I was using. I'm glad I posted the question and got the ball rolling. I'm the one with the beanie and yellow overalls.

First bluing


The first time a bluing really sticks


Nearly there.
So after scraping a side for 3 hours the half teaspoon or so of grains on the table next to the block is all you have to show for all that effort.


This one sums it up for me

Nice work guys, what radius was used on the scraper blades for this application?

Good to see all had a great time....hopefully I'll there will be another I can get to

I think it was 90 mm for initial and 40 for finishing.

Wasn't 60mm was it?

All the inserts I ground for the class I did 90 and 60 radius..
