Well I've had a fantastic weekend in Jerilderie with a great group of people.
I was able to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.
I even got the shot I wonted to finish off the Thread.

And here it is "Cowboy & Indian"



Dave was pretty happy to take the Indian for a spin Australia Day morning!
The Indian isn't really that big it's just that Dave happens to be about 2/3 scale!.
Ray (rwbuild) however gives a better indication of the actual size of the bike.



The only problem we had all weekend was every time our backs where tuned a certain Mr Crowe would be trying to ride off into the sunset.

You may have signed off on this thread (novel), but I think there may be an accolade or two to come. It has truly been a journey.

The GTG was a wonderful way to bow out and those last pictures are fabulous. Perhaps they epitomise "boys and their toys."

It won't die. It will just develop into something better and be used as a reference on what can be achieved.

To read through and follow the thread with all it's banter, explanation, work in progress notes and first class photos has been a joy BUT TO BEHOLD THE ACTUAL MASTERPIECE its self is just something else....to look over the detail, the finish and know it's all bits & pieces, even junk crafted together by a master craftsman and artist in a thing of beauty...WOW.....

I really enjoyed every minute of building the Indian.
But it wouldn't have been half as much fun if not for the interest and input of yourself and so many other forum members!.
If the little "Novel" won a Pulitzer prize the credit would have to go to all.

I got home from the Model Expo in Melbourne about 2'oclock yesterday morning.
The Indian managed to pickup a couple of nice shiny trophy's which is good fun.
I was really hoping to be on my way to Sydney this morning for the T&WWW Show.
But in all honesty my old man back (as my son likes to put it) just isn't up to the trip at the moment.
Hopefully it will be right in a couple of days and I can start doing some more work on the Harley for awhile.
My work space is far to clean at the moment and it just doesn't look right.

Congratulations on the Trophy's/ Prizes, Trevor, BUT were are the photos please......

So the "old man back" issue fully stopped your trip to Sydney; that's very disappointing, not seeing the bike again or catching up with a good friend....
Maybe all the work of the past couple of months cleaning up & clearing out hasn't helped either.....GET WELL quickly Trev....

I'll get some photo's this afternoon.
To be honest the Indian's still in the van.
I haven't had the getup and go to take it out yet.

No luck Keith on the best of trophy mate.
But I got the Scratchbuilt and the WOW Factor.

I'd love to get Best Of Show but the Outlaw couldn't do it nor the Indian.
I think my works a bit to left field, the Expo is pretty much all about plastic kit modelling.
Most seem to think the Indian was more in the line of Engineering.

I should've got the judges to have a look at this thread "Engineering" I don't think so!.
Anyway it was a good bit of fun.

Crowie sorry about not getting up to Sydney.
I was really looking forward to it.
But the "Old Man Back" is in a bit of a state just at the minute.
You should have seen me in Woomelang trying to get out of the van and stand up about midnight Monday.
Between me yelling in pain and Tayne laughing his head off, the locals must of thought Charlie Manson was in town.
