I personally thought the Rosella was more along the line of being "NICE", the blowy not so much!.

Very little in the way of birds around the shack yesterday.
I don't know if it had anything to do with it but there was a ton of smoke hanging around all day.
A guy up at the local shop told me there was some big fires up on cradle mountain.
Which is a good 100 kilometres away.

Still got some little fellows that dropped in.

    Not much colour there Dave.
None of the Blue Boy's turned up.
So here's some I prepared earlier!.

    Again very little around yesterday.
I've had to go to the back catalogue for the Blue Wren.

    IMG_0764.jpg IMG_0765.jpg

But the apple thief turned up and saved the day for the general shots category.

    IMG_1634.jpg IMG_1641.jpg

    IMG_1647.jpg IMG_1649.jpg

And the ever reliable Tassie Thornbill.

Well there was no problem finding birds around the place yesterday.
I had the pleasure of a Scarlet Robin dropping in!.
Even better got a shot of a Blue Wren sitting on a Magpies head (well kinda).

    IMG_1688.jpg IMG_1734.jpg IMG_1737.jpg

I'm guessing the tape around the Magpies mouth is to shut him up in the mornings!.

    IMG_1748.jpg

    IMG_1710.jpg IMG_1711.jpg IMG_1712.jpg

Even a Firetail was reasonable cooperative for a change.

    IMG_1749.jpg IMG_1780.jpg

The Fantail had a bit more attitude about him!.

    Cheers

    Another slightly quiet day yesterday.
But still got a couple of shots.

    IMG_1919.jpg IMG_1920.jpg

I haven't seen much of the Spinebill's over the last couple of weeks.
But their starting to show up again although acting a little weird!.

    IMG_1895.jpg IMG_1896.jpg

Where as the Thornbill's are ever reliable.

    IMG_1883.jpg

Some Kookaburra's have been starting to turn up in the evenings which is kool!.

Again a bit of a slow day through the lens.
But to be honest I'm probably putting more and more time into the Brough each day.
Still I did get a fly by from a Black Cockatoo.
The shots aren't the best I had the camera rated at 1000 there wasn't much light at the time.

    IMG_1963.jpg IMG_1964.jpg IMG_1965.jpg

There was also a Firetail and a Fantail.

    IMG_1985.jpg IMG_1989.jpg

And yes here's the Blue Wren.

Had a visitor in what I jokingly call my workshop yesterday.

    IMG_2102.jpg IMG_2108.jpg

Tassie Thornbill just wonderful little birds.

    IMG_2027.jpg IMG_2094.jpg

Firetail's really do add some colour.

    IMG_2080.jpg IMG_2065.jpg

And Dave's Australia Day Blue Wren.

    Cheers

I think this is a female Dusky Robin.

    IMG_2146.jpg IMG_2150.jpg

    I know this is a Black-headed Honeyeater.

    IMG_2236.jpg IMG_2239.jpg

    Tassie Thornbill great little thing.

    IMG_2213.jpg IMG_2214.jpg

And the one and only time I saw a Blue Wren all day.
His out at about 30 feet so it's not the best shot ever but I did get him!.

    Cheers
