Most demo's I would like limited to an hour unless it is something in the evening where we can all kick back and soak it in and try not to get caught snoaring from a big day 😉

Sounds scary. Its like learning 1st aid. Once you know it you have a responsibility to assist a person in need. If i learn to clean my shed I'll have a responsibility to keep it that way

Raechell is a true treasure, she holds the fort with the kids while Dave is away working then she has to put up with all the riff raff that Dave invites for what is essentially a blokes get together and ladies too . Many, many thanks to Raechell, Dave and the kids for putting on a great weekend, like the last one, a great success. To see the kids playing happily and SO well behaved was fantastic.

The camaraderie was fantastic, to see and share in so many different aspects of woodworking and associated activities, there isn't anything better.

Looking forward to the next one and I will try to get there earlier and stay longer to meet more.

Crowie and I came back via Shepperton which got a huge dumping of rain, something that Dooen and Horsham needs.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

    Cheers

During the Photoshop / Lightroom discussions, I mentioned a couple of websites which offer free video tutorials. Here are some links:

    Photoshop Tutorials by Julieanne Kost
    Adobe Photoshop Tutorials
    Photoshop Tutorials | Photoshop Essentials

That should keep you occupied for a couple of months.

Here is an example of cross lighting to pick up texture. We have thrown in some over exposure and heavy shadow. Good thing i have my hi-tech phone

These items have been acquired at the expense of somene else I believe. Most likely simplicity?

Default WOODWORK, friendships, camaraderie, encouragement, giving&sharing, fun, fly's & dust

    Just finished unpacking the car...
Got home about an hour ago....
The roadworks from Bathurst to Mt Victoria were very slow then the trip across to Katoomba and down the hill equally as slow.

That new Ford did the 2360kms round trip easily [thank you to the few who offered support just in case of another breakdown]; we got just on 11.3kms per litre & in old money that's a superb 32mpg out of a big 6cylinder; the economy could have been slightly better; Ray did the majority of the driving for me [thank you, sir] ..... he found that the Ford XR6 does have a lot of get-up & go ....... and thus the cruise control became very wise option...

Anyways, I need a good rest after such a big weekend with a top mob of blokes & ladies....THANK YOU Raechell & Dave.....You are a very special couple both hard working and generous...Dave, make sure you bring her a bunch of flowers when you get home from this Sydney work trip, as she deserves them & much more...

WOODWORK, friendships, camaraderie, encouragement, giving&sharing, fun, fly's & dust - WHAT A TOP WEEKEND!!!!
    Cheers, crowie

PS - I'll reduce all my photos [apologies Bob, unedited] and post them over the next few days.....

Not too bad at all. That works out to 8.9 litres/100klms which is just slightly more than my 8l/100k I got from my diesel.
