I was in Launceston yesterday picking Tayne up a new Computer.
I grabbed a couple of shots of this beauty fountain in the centre of town.

On the way home some shots along the Fingal Valley.
Or as I like to think of it My Driveway!.

This guy has a fantastic disguise but his location leaves a little to be desired!.

Those craters on the right hand side must be enormous, they came up really clear on your photo - great shot

He's a few days early and maybe a little to young but here's the Easter Bunny.

    IMG_6903.jpg IMG_6904.jpg

A Dusky Robin and a Rosella trying really hard not to be seen.

    IMG_6883.jpg IMG_6891.jpg

That was pretty much it for the day.
I did see a blue tail moving in the bracken fern but by the time I got the camera it was gone.

    Cheers

I got a couple of shots of a Scrub Wren yesterday one is as sharp as you like the other not so much.

    IMG_6918.jpg IMG_6917.jpg

Funny thing is I like the not so much shot better.

There where quite a few Yellow Rumped Thornbill's around as well.

    IMG_6921.jpg IMG_6929.jpg

Although they feed on the ground their fast moving little so and so's that don't stay still for long.
They need to take some lessons from Dave's Not So Blue Wren's and be more cooperative.

The Tassie Thornbill's where around today and on the hunt.
Which wasn't the best if you happened to be a caterpillar.

    IMG_7037.jpg IMG_7039.jpg

The rest of the time you wouldn't think butter would melt in their mouths!.

    IMG_7062.jpg IMG_7067.jpg

Most of the male Blue Wrens seem to be pretty easy going about their loss of colour.

    IMG_6988.jpg

But this young ladies come up with a hole new hair style.

    IMG_7091.jpg

I hope it doesn't catch on!.

    Cheers
