Hi Trevor, hi Dave!
Wonderful work yet again.
"Good times"? For you may be. I recall that it didn't take you long to put the Indian on a diet to line up the chain, but mate, isn't it more pleasing to get it right first time?
Glad to read of your successful move. Have fun in that big man-cave!

"Duck fudging"
Can that be made an official term.
Should we start a petition
At least a royal commission into to it.

The Duck has been Fudged!.
With a little jiggery pokery and a reduction of the back of the gearbox by about a 1/4 inch the sprocket aligns.
I've also made the clutch.
It's in three parts the clutch housing, the last one of the plates (no need for all the rest they can't be seen) and the cover.

Given a coat of primer it's looking alright.
At the moment the clutch cover is set back a little to far, I'll a address that down the track.

Now that's done I think I'll have a go at the Magneto, before getting back to the rockers.
I'm still slowly finding the parts I need to finish them.

To add another pun, I'll need to throttle back a little on the Brough for awhile.
I'm entering the Indian into the Art From Trash Exhibition in Hobart next month.
I need to do some running repairs to the bike and build a plinth to display it on.
As well as six free standing posts to be able to rope it off.
It shouldn't take to long to get it sorted and be back on the Brough!.
Cheers

I found this magazine in an antique shop today and I can send down better scans if you need? The Brough appears to use the first type but another item of interest was that Lucas was also the manufacturer of the 'King of the Road' cycle lamps which are also on Terry's SS100.

Thanks for that mate.
Please feel free to send away, any and all info is greatly appreciated.
I found these pictures of what I think is the Magneto on the KTOR.

Here's the pictures I'm using as a reference.

From what I can see of the Magneto I reckon the one in the first lot of pictures in pretty much the same.
MAG1.jpg MAG2.jpg
The differences being that on the bike the clip that holds the points cover is on the bottom left.
Where as on the other it's been mounted on the top right.
Also in the first pictures the Magneto is set for a single cylinder, with just the one sparkplug lead coming from the rear right side.
I'm pretty sure if another lead was mounted on the other side it would correct for a twin.
But in say that if anyone knows otherwise please shout out!.
The other thing I found is some good photos of the Magneto guard.

I'll send you a PM with the new postal address fletty.
Cheers
Trev.
