The tins are 210 x 40mm and pretty much just perfect for the job!.
No you can't be digressing.
The cake tins are a vital part of the display for the exhibition.
Their going to look wonderful all painted up and will without doubt enhance the overall aesthetics of the Indian.
There for you can not be guilty of digression as they are part of the build Q.E.D.
Perhaps though you maybe displaying a somewhat overzealous interest in cake tins.
Cheers Mate

Just got back from setting the Indian up at the Art From Trash Exhibition in Hobart.
It was a heck of a long day but the jobs done now.
The exhibition opens on Friday and runs through to the start of next month.

Then if the bikes still in one piece there's a car and bike rally in St. Mary's I've been asked to take it to.
But in the meantime I've got a couple of weeks clear to spend on the Brough!.
Cheers

Ive already been to the auction site and every middle-aged, male, flannelette-wearing, techno-, steam- and transport- nerd in Eastern Australia is already here! Some are sleeping in the carpark to get a head start on the morning! I have slapped several of them on the wrist that went near to Trevor's Indian poster but I doubt I can hold all of them, nor their money, away from it tomorrow?
Ray, I think you were wise to leave town!

I had the Indian out and about at the St. Marys car and bike show yesterday.
It was a great day out all round even though I didn't get much time away from the bike to enjoy all that was on offer.

The Indian ended up displayed right behind a McLaren.
A pretty damn cool car!.
IMG_9929.JPG IMG_9930.JPG IMG_9931.JPG
Although I was surprised by how little noise it made when first started.
That's not to say it didn't half bark when they hit the loud peddle.
Of cause I nearly got myself into trouble when one of the guy's from McLaren pointed out that this particular model was a one of a kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
I couldn't resist saying that's all good but my Indian's a one of a kind in the world!.
Here's a few more of the goodies that where on display.

At the end of the day I was a little surprised to win the award for Peoples Choice bikes pre 1980.

After picking up the trophy I heard a few people saying "But it's not even real".
Trust me I was thinking the same thing.
But the trophies still in my shed!.
It was a great fun day out.
Cheers
