Lots of rain at the moment making it hard to find times for the camera to be out and about!.
But there's usually something around even if you've only got a few minutes.

If the Thrush looks like his listening to the tree it's because he is.
They'll tap on the bark then listen for any movement underneath.

    IMG_2105.jpg IMG_2082.JPG

As you can see in this case it worked out well for the Thrush.

A bit of a pity Herbert didn't wont to sit closer to the lichen.

    Cheers

With all of the rain there was no way the camera could go outside.
But not to worry the nature found a way to come inside.

    Cute little fellow!.
A brown tree frog I found out.
I took a couple of shots than carefully put him back outside in the rain.
Where he seemed a lot more a home.

    Cheers

Still a ton of rain down here.
The pond at the bottom of the garden is full to over flowing.
I reckon if there's one tadpole in there there's a thousand.

As you can guess the camera's still nice and dry in the lounge room.
So here's some shots of a few old houses, shacks and sheds I've spotted around the place.

    IMG_5655.jpg IMG_5659.jpg

The old shacks below is pretty special.
The area were it's located was settled in around 1840 and the shack was none to have been standing long before that.

I love the old culvert under the highway.
I think it was down near Great Oyster Bay.

An underwater camera might work by the sound of it.

Great shots Trev, the B&W really suits the style of photo.
Is the last one a bridge of some sort?
Glad you're not getting the rains like some parts of Tassie are.

What lovely photo's. Just love them. I shoot with the Canon EOS 70D and mostly use my Tamron 16-300 which is quit new to the market. Mostly shoot scenery and when in Tassie I hate photography as we get nowhere. To much to photograph in one spot. I reckon Tassie has it all you could wish for in photography. I have been there twice and my fishing took second place to my photography. Just been to Mt Coolon in Qld which is a old gold town from the 1930's. Good photography as well.IMG_1606.JPG This is the old manager's house turned into a hotel and pun. The Burdican Dam is only 92 km away which has good fishing like barra, suity grunter and heaps of other species.
With kind regards and may the wood chips fly

    Yes I reckon it is.
Although nowadays the road surface is much higher than I think it would've been originally.

I'd love to know how old that stone work is.
It doesn't look like it was done last week.

Hey Charlie I found a couple of shots for you mate.
