Almost correct Ray.
The OTGA members decided that the logistics of setting up, attending and breaking down for a three day show was getting to hard for a bunch of 70+ year olds, so we pulled out of last years show. Attending this year never came up for discussion.
We are now meeting at our new club house, The Animal Nursery, Luddenham Showground, Luddenham each Wednesday from 9am to 3pm.
No Saturday meetings at the present time.
Future events that we are attending:
Penrith Show August 27th and 28th
Trend Timbers September 2nd and 3rd
Convoy For Kids late September (not confirmed)
Picton Show October 8th and 9th (probably to be held at Luddenham)
Hare and Forbes November 17th, 18th and 19th
Luddenham Show February 2017 18th and 19thJohn

Followup on the car incident
Followup on the car incident...
I got the car back from the repairer this morning after being in the shop for 8 days...
It is so good to be driving the Ford again after a week of a Hyundai Getz automatic which just didn't have enough leg room for me...
The process with the insurance company was a difficult fight to clear my liability for the incident BUT yesterday we finally had a positive resolve...
ANYWAYS, the real purpose of this followup is to publicly THANK Brett [aka FenceFurniture] for his support as without his detailed writing skills along with honest facts the liability resolution might not have been as favorable.
So it pays to be generous with your time as it was only by chance that we bumped into each other at the wood show were I offered him a lift home.
Cheers, Peter

Interesting glad it turned out ok
and I'm getting harassed by a certain insurance coy for a minor carpark scrape (son on Ls fault) after we hung around and waited for the other driver.
and it's taken them 4 months to get the cost to me and they want me to respond in 14 days.
oh and that's 14 days from the date of their letter - which is sent on a wed and arrived on a Mondayregards
