Ray,
Since there has been no statement to the contrary, am I correct in assuming that the paring chisels are now all posted?

Guy

Well, I didn't quite succeed in finishing everything as planned, but eventually managed to make a dent in the job and some good progress. I got a few more sets posted.

That's a full set of 8 plus the 35mm and a pair of left right 9mm skews with sheoak handles.
The middle sizes have a nice balanced feel, but my favourite is still the skews.
There won't be much progress in the next few weeks, as I'm working overseas, but everything is now set up to finish the batch when I return.

Beautiful chisels Ray. Too bad there won't be any more.

Don't let the critics get you down, hang in there and stick with what you like doing, I've seen some very innovative things from you over the last year or so, the reason I'm not doing another batch is more personal, it's just too much hassle. I could write a book about this particular project, but I won't, it's not a commercial project, it's a labour of love, and, I'd prefer to let the results speak for themselves. These chisels will hopefully last for generations into the future, the hassles and delays along the way will be long forgotten.
As far as tool making goes, I have plans for some saws, I'd like to make a few thin plate tenon saws.
