Yesterday morning one of the big boy's took a low pass over the house.
They are magnificent, aren't they? It's the nature equivalent of being buzzed by a C-117

Default Fathers Day walk around Cockrane Lagoon MacMasters Beach

A couple of pictures from Fathers Day. If only the diver was in focus!

Well I just got back from that "Had To Make It" trip to the storage locker in Mildura.
Gotta say nice to be home, gotta say even nicer to call St. Helens home!.

As I was waiting for the boat to leave Devonport I took a few shots of the Bluff Lighthouse and the area around it.
Please note "NO" bird photos, although a seagull's in frame in the last one "Whoops".

Best I get to work sorting out all the stuff I've loaded in the van!

Again, great shots of the Tasmanian landscape. Really like the 3rd photo with the red on the rocks.
You sure you didn't Photoshop that seagull in for old time sake

There's three red stripes on the lighthouse, so from left or right it's a red stripe first.
That makes it a red and white striped lighthouse Cowboy!.

And the worsted thing is you know I'd answer that question "I gotta get a life".

Of cause I did take some photos of birds while I was away.
There was a duck hanging around the pool at the motel I stayed at.

Cute looking thing but no idea of what kind.
I'm a big fan of the magpie's breakfast menu by the way.

Yes I suspected I would get an answer.

If you make my GTG in Doeen this Australia day you may het some nice picks. Had a low flying wedge tail hovering over the propert last week. I have seen wrens and a host of other birds. When the pine cones ate in season we get black parrots with yellow crest.

As yet I have not got any decent pics myself

    Great shots Mate,
Trev - you have to remember - the animals around this area eat some unpalatable things if you get my drift

After getting all of the stuff unloaded from the van.
I had some time yesterday to get the camera out and see if I could get a few shots of Clyde.
It was a bit of a shame that I missed the last week of his colour change.
As I'd taken a photo of him every day up until going to Mildura.

It didn't take long to find him and Bonnie.
And I think you'll agree his looking pretty sharp!.

I was really happy with the shot I got of a Bumble Bee in flight.

    IMG_9683.jpg IMG_9687.jpg IMG_9622.JPG

You can see a regular Bee in the second frame with him, it gives a good idea of how big these guy's are.

    IMG_9693.JPG IMG_9674.jpg

And a couple of the flowers coming out around the place.
Looks like spring is in the air!.

    Cheers

    IMG_9889.jpg IMG_9898.jpg IMG_9919.JPG
