Hopefully Clyde has made it
On a lighter note -
Cathie found a cartoon today and we were wondering if this is the disguise that you use to get up close to take all the fantastic shots

It took me little Blue mate awhile to show up this morning.
But I'm very happy to say Clyde made it!.
He looks none the worse for wear!.
IMG_0559.jpg IMG_0560.jpg
I really thought he was a gonna that hawk was right on him as they flew over the house roof.
I can only guess the smart little wren must of divided in under the eaves on the other side.
Cheers as specially to Clyde!

You've found me out Cathie, although in the cartoon I'm in my Sunday best.
Trev.jpg
Here I am the other day in my usual disguise waiting to get a shot of Clyde.
Please don't ask where I've got the camera stashed.

You'd think getting all made up like that would be the hard part.
But in fact it's finding the 30foot high lavender stalk to land on that's the problem!.
Cheers

With Bonnie and Clyde sitting happily in the morning sun all was good down here.

It was a beautiful day so I thought I'd take some photo's of all the flowers that have come out around the place.
Gotta say it was weird for a while with the camera not having the 600 on the end of it.

Trev,
Love the orchids and all the flowers. You are indeed a lucky fella to have all that varying flora on your own property - but well deserved mate.
(No disguises needed for photographing the flowers )

It's amazing how little we know about the construction of a flower until we see it close up like this. Just walk around thinking they look nice, but don't bother to look closely to see what goes into making them look that way.
The one with the little water droplet type features on the ends is very interesting.
Great array of shots.Dallas
