I've pored over those many times, but they only affect the thread settings, not the Forum subscriptions as far as i can see.
Thanks anyway.

As I stated earlier Fred I could not find the other thread which a few others had posted they to where having the same problem.
I guess if I change it back and it still doesn't work them possibly its a yahoo problem but why? Its only recent well in the last few months? It didn't effect both notifications and Likes together either.?
I agree with Chrism3 if we were both using the same ISP & the same email such as yahoo or gmail or bigpond but we are not by the sounds of things. I also went through everything before even posting to see if I had changed settings I could not find a thing.
When I did change the email address hit SAVE down the bottom all of a sudden all my old and new notifications came up. Yep linked to my user handle that I can understand.
I will change email addy back to see what happens.

I'm prepared to give this a rest since I'm the last man standing (out). The only way it is ever going to be resolved is via a conversation between our Guru and my ISP, and I don't know how to arrange that, and don't like taking up any more valuable time. Someone somewhere introduced a change around 13 June which affected me - all was well until then. Who knows, maybe some day there will be another change and all will come back!

This morning I changed my email address to a gmail one, thereby bypassing my ISP. However thus far no delivery. Can I ask if the daily update is still sent out at 10.23am?

I changed it about 45 minutes before 10.23. Is that long enough to get into the daily mailing list, or did i need to change it sooner?
It's my wife's gmail account, and since all other forum messages are coming through I don't want to leave it on that address any longer than I have to.

What is the daily mailing list? I see no option to opt in or opt out, and I don't receive any daily spam from WWF

If you bring up a forum, near the top right you will see a "Forum Tools" button. Under that is a menu that includes "Subscribe to this forum".
Once that is done you should receive a daily update of threads posted to the forum.
But it doesn't always work, hence my entries in this thread.I hope it works for you.
regards
Chris

Chris - I have responded to you in a PM.
However I see you have changed your email address 7 times since 16th July and that probably won't be helping things.
Have you had an "Email Conformation" for any of these changes? If so did you respond to any of them?

Yes, I had confirmations for all of them, including yesterday's change to gmail. They were all responded to. I have three addresses, and I've tried each of them, and when they didn't work, i reverted to the normal one - hence the number of changes you note. Then yesterday I tried my wife's gmail account.
But I wondered whether the change needed to be done by say midnight of the day before, rather than just 45minutes before, as was the case yesterday.

With all the problems you guys are having about notifications may I suggest that you use the " New post " button or "Todays post" button. That way you will see all the posts listed ,including the ones you are interested in.
That's what I do.
Peter.

Thanks Peter, didn't know about that second one, and was only told about the first yesterday. Should be a useful substitute. Can you subscribe to those ?
regards
Chris
