I've just put up a browser based card and ticket printing app on blocklayer.com some of you may find useful.
You can design (sequentially numbered) cards or tickets online and create a PDF file to print from.

You can add multiple text blocks and images, and put sequential numbers on cards in multiple places.
Divide the page up into rows and columns and adjust margins to get any card size you like.
It can take a while to create large PDF files (lots of pages with lots of cards) so please be patient after you hit the 'Create' button.

Please let me know if it needs editing, altering, additions or just fixing.
