    Default EOFY table saw

Picked up new table saw yesterday, set up tonight
Hare & Forbes Hafco SB12, can claim on tax too!!

Went together without too much trouble. Fence and blade perfectly aligned straight out of the box but out of alignment with mitre slots.
Will look at adjusting tomorrow. Me being tall its a bit of a pain using blade height adjustment but I'm sure I can make up an extension to the hand wheel.

The fence is an absolute dream to use. Just have to sort out all the shop made jigs, dust extraction, etc to go with it.

Have to give credit to Downunder Woodworks You tube video on the exact same saw and assembly. Some really useful tips that aren't in the manual.

LOML is happy too, especially now that I have promised her all those nice cupboards, etc that she wants.

    Cheers

    Congrats on the new saw.

by the way.... I can see where this is all going... you will soon realise you need another tool to do that job, and only Festool does it properly...etc etc.

You will have the cupboard built but you will endup with $$$ of tools

Lot more to do configuring layout now, time to be brutal and throw out all the "might need that one day" junk but as everyone knows within 7 days you need that one item you threw out, ah ...such is life.

First priority, get the friendly next door neighbor to dig the trench for power from house to shed, cable has been living on back verandah for 12 months then more LED lighting and then the fun begins in earnest

It's always the way, we stupidly make promises to justify our latest purchase and the first thing we make is a rod for our own back Just as well we enjoy making that stuff, eh?

Finally got underground power to shed, connected and working. No voltage drop now after working with 2 long extension leads to shed for the last 18 months.
Cleaned up the shed a bit...like about a trailer 1/2 full of c...p, starting to find things I've been looking for
Fine tuned alignment on the table saw
Starting to make sleds, etc....don't panic... photos when sleds, etc finished.
