Stop looking in your shed ... it might be in your house !

Next problem ... you can't remember where you put your house.

Check the freezer, if you can find the freezer, you can find the house.

I now know where to look for my tape measures, spanners, pencils etc.

On top of a shelf where I last climbed up the stepladder. I am currently installing my ducting and always looking for my favourite tape measure (Festool). I just have to reposition the step ladder to my last place of ascent (or 2nd last or...)

OK, everyone that was worried about the lost tape can breath easy now, I found it tonight and now I have two! I was looking for something I had dropped when putting my hollow chisel mortiser together and I started to drag things out from under the bench and lo and behold there was the tape behind all the plastic drill cases stacked under the bench. I found the part from the mortiser as well so the tape was a bonus.

Thanks for letting me know Chris - I was worried sick about that
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

I'll call Interpol to let them know. They can release all the suspects they were holding, both here and abroad, without charge......

Doug, I can recommend a counsellor if you want. The one I used to get over my loss was excellent.

But we won't be able to get it from the drive to the shed so I will have to hang onto it.
