    Hi Greg,
Ive been thinking about that. What l would REALLY like is arty wrought iron gum or grape leaf handles .... but I don't have any. Apparently there are smithing classes in Sydney and, should I ever sign up, that's what I would make. Until then, l'll enter through the old door and open these from the inside.
Im glad you liked the green though

My daughters had tracked down the smithy who had made the single handle already on the shed door and commissioned this pair to match!
I will fit this pair on the outside and take the single one to the inside to allow me to hold the doors closed while I engage the slide bolts. My grateful thanks to my daughters AND Possum Forge at Eungai!

You need a matching apron and face shield hook for inside.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Ooops! I have just been corrected by my daughters. The smithy was in fact Colin Dray who sells his wares at the Bellingen (Bello’) markets on the NSW north coast! If anyone wants to contact him I can get the details.

Thanks Keith. Before my daughters arranged for the custom made handles, I was thinking of making a pair from these braces which I bought for $5 each.....

But, before I had made the mounting plate so that no braces would be damaged in the creation of door handles, Crowie sent me this suggestion....

..... which I think is BRILLIANT!
