I have another event I have been attending over Easter for many years. I think others would be the same. Easter would cut a lot of people out.

Jools and I arrived back home about 10 minutes ago. we had a pretty good run on the highway. Its currently 39 degrees outside so we are waiting for it to cool down a bit before we unload.

Anyway, here's three fantastic people who made mallets with me over the weekend.

Sally and I would both like to say a big thanks not just to Dave and Raechell for an awesome weekend, but to all,it's really everyone who turns up, and makes it fun.
GTG,s would not be fun without people being there and for some it's a long drive to get there.

It was great catching up with everyone.

It was very obvious Dave and Raechell had been busy beavers the week prior to this weekend.
Doing what they could to accommodate everyone I noticed Dave's shed was pretty much a trip free floor space [emoji12].

Yes they are in the middle of building there dream proberty but they had gone to efforts to make everyone as comfortable as good be.
It was a shame the heat was baking most of us.
And yes quite a few of us opted to enjoy the aircon in our cars and bailed out earlier today.

A date change could possibly be a good thing, but as has been said not an easy thing to do.
And especially if you try to please everyone.

My only slight annoyance was the dam ................................ (very bad words)flys

    Cheers Matt

I let you in on a secret.
That's the third time I've heard this.

Smart man this Dave, gets a free shed clean once a year.

I am sure Uncle Al will have plenty of photos to upload when he gets home. Can't have a nice camera like that and not use it.

As this was my second time here, T'was nice to see some new faces and older ones there.
New ones that I can remember, were Benny with his parents, Peter and Moira?, dai sensai, Neil with his travelling companion Billie, who have been together about 3 months, Treecycle Russel and his wife, Wayne a friend of Rays RW Build, a couple of work mates of Daves, Kat and Dan who were decking out a van to live in, whilst travelling this great land, from Scotland and Ireland respectively, Wimmerra Jack John and wife Pat. John took me around to his sons place Harty69, Thanks John.<br> Another new face I remembered was Doug from Loxton SA a recent new member here.

Thanks to Dave and Raechell for organising a fantastic week end, and everyone else that was there to help make it so.
If I missed a new face, please accept my deepest appologies, as it's hard for me to remember names.
