Bloody hell. That's a 100% increase on last years entry fee. I'll probably still go.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

So, did anybody go & what did you get? Unfortunately now that I'm no longer living in Sydney, I didn't get to go this year.

Couldn't help myself, made the trip south. Picked up a No 5 and a No 6 Record planes in really good condition. These will both be users. The 'cheap' voice in my head was telling me to buy the 5 and 6 from the Stanleys and Records that weren't in anywhere near as good condition for a few dollars less. But then I thought of the old garage sale chisels sitting in my shed for 3 or 4 or more years forlornly waiting for rehab. The 'common sense' voice won and I bought the better Records which won't require much fettling. And I still even managed to keep within my budget.
This was my first time to the TTTG sale so I am unable to compare to previous years.

I went, I brought, I enjoyed!
Starrett combination square, with the attachments, some picks, milwaukee hole saws, Diamond sharpening stones and sundry small stuff.
Was it worth it, 3 hour drive, entry etc, the answer is yes.Pat

To be honest, I couldn't be bothered. It was cold and rainy and it was warm inside, in front of the computer. Maybe next year.
