150 mm and 125 mm PVC pipe in Sydney
I have found a source (may not last long) of sun faded PVC pipe near Mascot airport.
The details can be found at this thread in the Market Place
$30 for a 6 metre length of 150mm seemed a good price to me.Cheers

I am still looking for a supplier in Sydney to rival the prices that the Sandgropers can get for PVC fittings from PVC Pipe Superstore. Since their freight goes down dramatically as a % of the purchase price if you buy more from them, perhaps this is a good occasion for locals who want to to get together. For example, I want 2 x 150mm 45*bends - they cost $16 each and the postage is $30. If someone else wants some stuff and the cost goes above $50, the increase in postage is only $5.
Any takers in the Emerald City? [and yes I am prepared to do the ordering and collect the money if others are prepared to come to Lindfield to pick up on weekends]Cheers

Jeremy,
Have you compared the Superstore prices with Pipeonline's?
Pipe Online - Retic Fittings , Plumbing Fittings, Reticulation Supplies supplied Australia wide
I did a limited price comparison and it looks like Pipeonline's prices for Stormwater fittings and pipe are cheaper where as the Superstore prices are cheaper for DWV fittings
Cheers

Pipe Online were cheaper both for the items and for the postage. I think I will just go ahead and order (so I have the stuff in time for a weekend of DE plumbing )
Cheers

I've done a bit of further research. AFAI can see, PVC Pipe Superstore is a business name of a company whose name is Waterscreens Pty Ltd which has its office in Chipping Norton in Sydney. Sometime I will see if we can pick stuff up from them
Cheers

Does the plumbers co-op sell retail, or just to members only? If the latter, the $200 worth of shares you would need to buy to become a member might not be worthwhile unless you're buying a lot.

Old thread I know...
Just bought 150mm PVC stuff from Plumbers Co-op in Newcastle.
They happily sold to me, a non-member and non-tradie.
Much cheaper than I found elsewhere.
I paid:
All 150mm, Female - Female, stormwater
45 degree bend - 9.79+GST
90 degree bend - 9.88+GST
Junction (Wye) 45 deg - 16.43+GST
6m Pipe - 74.79+GST
