Started a new train from left over parts
Got started on a small train yesterday thinking of making it one of those toy book end kind a project but we'll have to see there it wants to go.
The chimney is all ready way different than I had planned but that's the way it wanted to be. lol
The chimney and boiler were glued up for my last train [as one looong turning], but the glue up didn't go as planed not straight so cut it down and we get another train project.

With a chimmney like that, I guess it is a wood burner. A chance for you to put all your short dowels in the tender.
Love it already.
Happy to take the left seat.

No tender, this is for a get together next week where everyone brings something to give away, so just a quick train project.
The plan was to cut it in half for a book end but just couldn't bring myself to cut it up.

Cut in half! That would almost be criminal. Throw a bunker on the back and make it a well tank engine.
Good looking engine.

I'm very glad it didn't get cut in half Bruce...
Someone will be extremely lucky to receive such a beautiful hand made wooden toy train...
Cheers, Peter
