I'm not sure your slots are all long enough to allow you to move the fences out if you have a big router bit in there.

I can get them right back so they are flush with the fence edges but I can always lengthen the slots with the other router if I have to, I will probably look at making a whole new sacrificial fence as I did make a few mucks ups when cutting the slots as I cut them with a power drill instead of the router as the original slots in the fence to attach the wood was 4mm wide and I did not have a 4mm router bit then I decided today to enlarge the slots in the fence to 6mm by drilling them out then filing them.

Making a bit of an update here i have just bought a different 1/2 inch router and getting rid of the ryobi as i discovered the mt series makitas come with a height adjustment knob for use when it is mounted on a table so i have decided to go with the makita m3600m which has taken over from the maktec range.
Edit: before anyone else requests pictures, there will be pictures when the router arrives on the courier as I only just ordered it this morning before I went to work.

Here we go the router arrived today, and I am stoked with it so far it is heavier than the ryobi, came with 6.4mm 8mm and 12.7mm collets the straight cut bit that came with is for the 12.7mm collet , hell you can plunge this thing with one finger even though i have to turn the height adjustment knob from under the bench I am not worried about that.

Discovered it has a plate that goes over the bottom vents to stop debris getting in so it is now installed. Also forgot to mention it had a on off seitch so no having to lock a trigger on when mounted on bench not so good for freehand use if you lose grip

Do the curved ends fit into the clamp base? There seems to be enough flat router base to angle the clamps onto.

Thanks for that Chris the router is in there pretty firmly this one does not have soft start but it does not torque to bad and there is no variable speed either so I will have to try and find a variable speed control box that I can plug into the tritons power box and then to the router as I have a tongue and groove bit set that is 32mm diameter and is recommended to run at 18000 rpm and this router does 22000 rpm with no load
