Some days are diamonds, some days are best left to stay in bed. Today although a lot of tooing and froing was one of the former days.
Not finished but hope to have some pics up tomorrow. Definitely not pretty but it looks useable and all from 'stuff' in the spare shed..I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

Most days I alternate between the shed and the bed.
During the last few months most of my days have been 20-40 minutes of activity followed by 20-60 minutes of rest but today I managed to get a few periods of 60-90 minutes of activity followed by 20-40 minutes of rest.
Still slow as sloth in the shed though, plus I have let things run down and there's lots of maintenance needed.

Warning, this is not for the fussy pedantics.
I dug around found bits Id forgotten about and made this but it works
swing arm1.jpg a gate hook mounted upside down behind the dust extraction, the next 3 show bits attached to each other that allow the timber board to move up/down and swing in required direction. The 150mm pipe will be zip tied to board and have flexi hose at shown end fixed to the vertical. and another piece for attaching to jointer, thicknesser and sanderI would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

dam did I really post those...well that went out the window, I think this dust design has changed more often than my wife.... 'ouch'
as it was my first attempt at even setting up a shed let alone building dust extraction I was floundering, yes a lot of grateful help and advice from you lot, but finally dredesigned something I am happy with at present, although the dear beloved asked for a change roday AAAAAHHH!!!
anywayworkshop layout.jpg
we have 2 bays in a big shed, technically 1.? bays of useable space...gawd bless the artistic wifes storage. I think this is self explanatory.
dust extraction.jpg
this shows how I now have extraction working, the big joy is, it all goes out the back wall via a modified/butchered 2HP dusty that shares the dust with near door sheep and weeds.
now a few pics to clarify the drawingI would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

wifes suggestion today was could the sander fit between the drill press and laser cutter, so there a job tomorrow refit another Y & blast gate inline in 3rd pic.
The whole thing is stunning in performance I was sceptical about the tablesaw distance but dang it works well.
I have also built a cabinet between false wall and table saw for bulky storage and outfeed table. The worktable will be rebuilt and have a shelf that will come up between it and tablesaw for same reason.
The big 90* elbow going nowhere will allow thicknesser and jointer to move into place and plug in.
Now question regarding sander....I am sure Ive asked this before but cant find anything....

Well, spent yesterday farting around designing a dust extraction for the sander.
several attempts, some choice (non politically correct) words were spoken but I finished up with this contraption/monstrosity
dusty1.jpgdusty2.jpgdusty3.jpg
today in fear and trepidation I spent 2 hours testing it out. Used scraps of 3rd grade plywood, mdf, chipboard, pine, blackwood. Could see it being sucked down the bell mouth. I then placed a sheet of ply around the edge about 300mm above ground and repeated and finished with NO dust laying aroundI would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

bump for responses on the Triton router dust system. Does the shield and hose actually work?
Is there a way to add bigger size hose? not 150mm then the Kreg router table back board. for gawds sale 60mm dia what is that supposed to do.
Ive got 2 x 100 PVC pieces just itching to be connected....I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds
